Price may vary according to teacher and/or location desired. Sessions must be used within one year of purchase.

About the practice:

 * “Mysore style” is a traditional method of practicing the Ashtanga Yoga series of postures. The postures are sequentially linked with breath. Inherent in this methodology is one-on-one teacher to student instruction. As proficiency increases, new postures are slowly added which allow students to progress as their body / mind dictate and also feel the empowerment of having an individual practice that meets their needs. Beginners can expect their practice to be around 30 minutes long and will increase with consistency in practice. It is normal to feel overwhelmed or out of place as a beginner. Realize that everyone in the room has been in your shoes and although the room is silent, we are all cheering you on to succeed and take benefit.

Led Primary class is appropriate for those students with some experience of the Ashtanga practice. As newer students familiarize themselves with the series,  they are encouraged to attend this class. They will be guided when and where to practice up to in the series for that day.

The Mysore hours of practice reflect the time the doors to the shala open and close. Students may come practice at any point within that time period so long as they finish practice by the closing time.

Walk-ins from out of town are welcome. Register Here
